SUICIDE AT MANGATAINOKA. By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. Pauiatua, Wednesday. Paul Kombach, of Rombacli Bros., coopers, of Mangatainoka, committed suicide by banging, yesterday. His brotlioi left (lie shop for a short time, leaving liim engaged in putting on a top of a cask. When beroturned, the job was completed, but his brother ivas not to be seen. Making a search, lie found him a small cord, from tho ioof of SUncdroom. Tho body was warm, but life; was extinct. No causo can be coirjectured for the act. An inquest will be held this afternoon. Mr O'Meara, auctioneer of Woodvillo, intends extending his business to Paliiatna. It is understood that tho workmen ongnged in the local factory have gono out on striko. Tho weather is wet and bitterly cold.
