THE "VTATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND, Tiie Oiijects of the National Association are 1. To create a National Sentiment,and to form into one solid body all those who object to socialistic legislation. 2. To promote reforms —economic, legislative, and constitutional; to protest against undue interference with the rights and liberties of the subject; and to oppose class legislation. i), To protest against any alteration of tlie land laws that lends towards the destruction of freeholds,and to encourage bona-fidc settlement. _ 4. To show the fallacy of the prin" ciple that labour and capital are antagonistic; and to prove to the work-ing-man that his ivorst enemy is the agitator, who uses him only as a step-ping-stone to political power. o. To secure prosperity and confidence, by opposing experimental legislation lending to check the legitimate use of capital, and causing it lo be locked up or withdrawn from the country, to the detriment of employer and employee.
0. To promote agricultural, raining, commercial, and manufacturing enterprise by removing all unnecessary obstacles to their development. 1.
