D. CREWE'S WEEKLY REPORT. On Tuesday, Juno 18th, I held my usual fortnightly stock sale at Pahiatua. The yards were well filled with stock, and there was a good attendance of the public. For good classes of cattle the prices at former sales were fully maintained. Inferior classes were not sought for. The following prices were obtained:— Good classes of dairy cows, £4 19s to £5 10b ; inferior, £4los to £4; dairy heifers, 2-year-old, £3 15s; 18-month-old, £2 to £2 ss; 18 to 20-month steers, £2 5s to £2 8s; calves, 10s; pigs, young stores, lis. No sheep were yarded. On Thursday, the 20th, and Saturday, the 22nd, I held miscellaneous and produce sales at the Mart, although there was a large attendance of the public, bidding was slow for many lines and brisk for others. I ultimately cleared most of the entries at the following prices:— Onions, fd to Id per lb; potatoes, £2los to £3 2s 6d per ton. Business at the Mart during the week has shown an improvement, and prices quoted last week have, been fully maintained. I have inquiries for 12 to 18-month stem's of good class; also dairy cows in full profit. On Monday Mr F.
