—♦ : From Our Own Correspondent. Wednesday. Word hns been received from tin Mostyn-Dalziel Company, that tliej will not appear, as the Company hai been disbanded, Duck shooters were out in foroi yesterday, but no big bags iver< made, though the ducks were pretty plontiful, but there was too big a set running, and the dogs would not face it. A man named Godfrey Shrodoi met with a slight accident a few day, but o:icaped without injury. If appears that he is working witli others at the Waihenga bridge, and he had gone dowu one of the piers to adjust a rope on one of the piles which they were driving. Shrodoi missed his footing and fell into the Ruaniahunga, a distance of 20ft, bul owing to his being a good swimmer he was nono the worse for his ducking though the river was running vory swift.
