DEFEAT OF .THE ROSEBERY GOVERNMENT.

The Government has been defeated on the Army Estimules by a majority of seven votes on an amendment proposed by Mr Brodrick, member for the Guilford Division of Surrey, protesting against the inadequacy of the reserves of ammunition, especially cordite. The Okerm declares that tho Government has decided to resign.
