MASTERTON ROAD BOARD.

•MONTHLY MEETING.

The regular monthly meeting of the Masterton Road Board, was hold on Saturday last. Present—Messrs Cameron (Chairman), Stuckoy, Holmes, Harris, and McKenzio. The minutes of tho last ordinary meeting, were read and confirmed. With regard to the road through Te Ore Ore, it was decided that Mr W. loms be advised of tho purport of the solicitor's opinion, and asked to communicate with Messrs Murray Roborts it Co,, with a view to giving effect to the suggestion contained therein. Mr W. L. Falconor's application to be allowed to erect a fence on a road line near his property, was left with Mr Holmes to deal with. It was resolved that a preliminary mccfiug in connection with the proposed Bolliamley loan (Upper Fernridge), bo held on Satnrday, June 20th, at the County Office, Mastorton, The Finance Committee's report, recommending payment of accounts amounting to £lOl las 8d was road and adopted, It was resolved to request Mr F, P. Harrison to clear the gorse off the road fronting his property.
