Mastkrton, Monday. Messrs 11. E. Hornhlow & Co,, auctioneers ami produce merchants, report as follows for week Gliding Saturday, June 22nd: — During the week there has been, improvement in prices for all kinds of produce. Grain of cvory description has risen, Good butter has also advanced. Eggs remain at last week's quotations. Poultry is in good demand, and readily finds pui'chaseis at our prices. Our weekly horso sale was well patronised, but entries were small; with one exception, all horses were disposed of. Enquiries for properties, both town and country, fairly good, and we have to report the disposal of two building sites since Inst. Monday. Poultry.—Eowls,2s 3d In 2s 6d per pair; ducks, 3s Gd to 3s (W ; geese and turkeys no entries. Produce,—Potatoes, table GOs to 70s; pig potatoes 3s to os- 3d per sack; oats Isßd to2s; onion sheaf 2s 3d; straw Is 2d per sack ;. fowls wheat 3s 9d per bushel.
