FOGGAN SENTENCED to TWO YEARS' HARD LABOR.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Mondayjjjjy • At the S.M. Court, this the prisoner Jas. M. Foggan, on a .charge of haying escaped from the .y. Terrace gaol, was sentenced to two years' hard labour. Mr Martin said that had it not been for the fact that the prisoner had used no violence iu making Ws escape and committed no crime while at large, he would have sent him to the Supreme Court where *•; he could have got seven years.
