MR WARD IN CANADA.

CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND. London, June IS. The Hon. Mr Ward cables from Ottawa that he has bad a long and satisfactory conference with the Canadian Ministry concerning a reciprocity treaty between Canada and Now Zealand, but that for the present be prefers to reserve tho details as to the result of the discussion, Ottawa, Juno 14. Mr Ward, speaking at Winnipeg, promised to recommend tho Now Zealand Parliament to grant a subsidy if the Canadian-Pacific Company would run a line of steamers direct to New Zealand. The Company has since submitted an advantageous offer fo Mr Ward. Mr Wardi leaves Vancouver to morrow (Sunday), and expects to be at Auckland on tho 6th July.
