WEDDING AT GREYTOWN.

An interesting and pretty wedding took place at Greytown on Wednesday afternoon, the contracting parties being Miss Eoso Perkins, eldest daughter of Mr Thomas Perkins, of Morrison's Bush, and Mr William Hounslow, foreman compositor of the Wairarapa Daily Times Office. The coremony was porformed at the home of the bride's parents, by the Eev.S. J. Gibson, a lurge number of friends being present. The biide was prettily dressed in a tailor-made Cheviot tweed gown, trimmod witli brown velvet, with bonnet to match. The bridesmaids, Misses Alice and -Annie Perkins (sisters of the bridd) were both tastefully attired in gobelin blue cashmere, trimmed with golden heaver fur, with toques to match. Mr T. Ward, of Greytown, acted as best man, After the ceremony, the guests sat. down to a bounteous wedding breakfast, the chief attraction being a large three-decker wedding cake supplied by Mr J. Kirkus, confectioner of Wellington, a brother-in-law of the bridegroom, The health of the couple was drunk in bumpers and later on they were accompanied to the Greytown Eailway Station by many of the guests, and amid showers of rice, slippers, and. good wishes, left for Masterton. The presents" were both numerous and costly, including one to the bridegroom from the Daily Times companionship^
