There is great excitement on tlioi goldfields as the Londonderry Company has again picked up the rich shoot of gold which suddenly gave out. It was struck at twenty-two feet in the South main shaft and was driven info seven feet. It reaches from floor to roof of the drive, and glistens like a jowoller's Bhop. Some of the gold is coarse, ; but Hie bulk is finer than that met with in the Golden Holo. The same enormous richness appears to extend in all directions. It is estimated that already two thousand ounces have been taken out of tho new find. How the big shoot will prove it is impossible to say at preseut, but it is undoubtedly a continuation of the rich discovery first made.
