llmhctl, June 4, S )>.m. Sydney, June 4. In the Legislative Assembly, the Treasurer, the Hon. G. H. Iteid, introduced the resolutions to give effect to the alterations in tho tariff foreshadowed in tho Budget. The duty on butter is reduced from 2d to a Id per lb, The duty on agricultural and dairy produce andtish remains until June 30th next year. The permanent tariff fixes the duty on beer at (id to 9d per gallon; wines 0s per gallon; spirits, 14s per gallon, and tobacco, 3s per lb,
