A SAMOAN TRAGEDY.

Reports of a shocking tragedy a mml.Ataa have been 'received at Apia A quarrel had arison between twi families or two sections of one famil' which ended in a fight between tin two sections. Three were engage! . on 0110 side, and seven on the other and the weapons used were rifles ant knives. Of the threo two were killed, aw one of the other side, while severa were wounded somewhat seriously. One of those killed had his heat taken off, and another .literally cut in halves, The whole affair was a purely domestic or tribal quarrel, and ha. l no political signilicanoe.
