From Our Oten Correspondent, Tuesday. In consequence of tlie weather yesterday, the social arranged to welcome the Bishop of Wellington ■had to be postponed until later on in tho week. Let us hope the weather will be fine on this occasion, The meeting of the Theological and Mutual Improvement Class was postponed last night, the bad state of the weather preventing a good attendance. There are a large number of swaggers on the roads just now. I passed ten on the road to Featherston "the other day, a woman being the number.
