London, May 26. At the wool sales a medium catalogue was offered. Prices remained firm, Continental buyers operating freely.
The sales closod with good spirit, and vory firm, Good merinos wero at par, and other merinos at {d to id lower than lust scries, Long coarse crossbreds wero at par, while other sorts were id lower.
The number of bales catalogued was 309,800, of which 12-1,000 were sold to Homo buyers, 130,000 for the Continent, and 20,000 for Anuria The quantity hold over is about 70,000 bales.
