MURDER OF A PRIEST.
Paris, May 18, Madame Amelot, a lady who devoted an immense fortune to the 'relief of the poor in Paris, has killed her confessor, Abbe Broglie, brother of the Due de Broglie, under the delusion that he persecuted her.
Received, Mai/14, MO a.m. Paris, May 13. Tho murder by Madame Amelot lies created a tremendous sensation in Paris.
She is suffering from religious mono-mania, and declares that tho Abbe divulged secrets of the confessional.
