AN INVITATION FltOM CANADA.

Tho Canadian Government has invited the Hon. Mr Ward to visit Ottawa, to discuss matters of general interest as between Canada and Now Zealand.
Mr Ward accepts the invitation conditionally on his engagements permitting it,
Mr Ward informed the Colonial Party of the House of Commons, that New Zealand desired a naval station, in view of the results of tho Japanese war, Sir Charles Dilke considered a station in Sydney was sufficient.
