THE EGMONT FARMERS' UNION, Ltd. Hawera, May 9. There were very few cattle came forward for sale at Manaia on Wednesday, the Sth inst. The attendance was also small and bidding exceedingly dull so that very little business was done. During the week, howover, wo succeeded in placing several lines of fat'stock privately. There is no improvement in prices of stock. We quote :—Fat and forward bullocks £sl2s Od, Produce-Beans, 3s per bushel; short feed oats 2s per bushel; dun oats 2s 3d por bushel [
