NORTH WAIRARAPA BENEVCLENT SOCIETY.

MONTHLY MEETING.

Tlio ordinary monthly meeting of the Trustees was held to-day. Piesont, Messrs R, T. Holmos (chairmun), R, D. Daw;. E. Feist, aud D. Guild, MINCTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read aud confirmed. CASUAI, CASKS. The Chairman reported tbat assistance had keen rendered to Wm. Smith and Win. Glover, also to Clias, Malwell, whose fare was paid to Wellington. Joseph Hyde received medical assistance and a night's lodging; Frederick Beckor a night's lodging; Wm, Richardson's faro was paid to Wellington; Wm, Sheehan a night's lodging; John O'Brien a week's board and lodging on the recommendation of Mr Hogg, M.H.R., who had undertaken to get liirn work. Mrs O'Meara was granted a load of wood. Ou the motion of Mr Feist,seconcled by Mr Guild, the action of the Chairman and Secretary was confirmed. CORIiESI'OMXCK. I Prom Survey Department, offering to furnish a map of the County, for £7, The lefctor was roceived. TREASURER'S RKI'ORT. ' The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £37 ]ss Gd, and that £3710s was due from the W.D.C.A. Board. ACCOUNTS. Accounts, amounting to £44 18s 2d, were passed for payment, and the ordinary cases were ordered to bo continued till next meeting. The meeting then adjourned.
