Seeded Mag 6, 12.15 p.m. Syhxey, May (!. ■ The barque City of Adelaide, which lias arrived from Lyttelton experienced terrific weather on the voyage. After leaving Lyttelton she was Unable to get through Cook Strait and came north, about every sail being blown away as they wero set. Towering seas came on board aud at ono time things looked so critical that lifebelts were served out and were got ready in case the Y vessel should founder.
