BLOOKER'S DUTCH COCOA.
There are few products which can olaim to contain as much nutritious mattor, as the bean of tho Cocoaphut. In its purest form, it fortifies the stomach, aids digestion, and ilrns a soothing and invigorating effect on the wholo constitution, For these reasons, physicians recommend it, especially to the weak, to children, and to convalescents, in preference to tea or coffee, as theso stimulants weaken the nervouß system, and have au exciting effect on the brain.
For a long time, howovor, our greatestcheinisf 8 vainly endeavoured to separate the indigestible portion of the Coeoa-bean from its nutritious parts. After years of careful research, the great Dutch firm of J. and C. Blooker, Amsterdam, succeeded in discovering a practical method of effecting this separation. Their method of producing Cocoa on the new principle, differing bo widely from the mode 'generally adopted, compelled them '. to build, in 1885, the largest factory |in tho world, and they oiler its pro- , duct—unique in quality—to tho public at tho lowest possible price. Blocker's Dutch Cocoa is the most popular Cocoa on tho Continent of Europe and it is daily gaining in popularity in Great Britain, tho Colonies and America. Here are a j few of the awardsgaincd by Blooker's Cocoa. In 1886 it defeated all competitors at the Amsterdam luteri national Exhibition. Blooker's Cocoa gained tho highest award at tho Philadelphia Puro Food Exhibition in 1889, and at the World's Fair at Chicago hi 1893 it secured the only gold medal for cocoa. Tho latest triumph was at the Antwerp Exhibition of 1894, when Messrs J. and C. Blooker were awarded the only Grand Prix. Messrs W. and G. Tnrnbnll & Co., the Wellington agents, have kindly sont us a sample and we can cordially endorse the statement that Blooker's is tho most cxcellont Cocoa it is possible to obtain.
