Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their fortnightly stock sale yesterday, the yards wero well filled with all classes of sheep and cattle, In sheep, the bidding was somewhat slack at the commencement, many pens being passed, but was somewhat livelier later on, and mostly all lots passed, sold privately; all good conditioned sheep sold freely, but anything weak and out of condition, was neglected. Cattlo wero stil; dull of sale, the hulk of which did not reach owners'reserves; Pat wethers, 7s Gd; good stores, 5s 6d to 6s 4d; sinall 2-tooth, 4s; fat ewes, 6s; store owes, 3s (jd | brooding eves,, sound, 3s Od to 4s; aged, Is 3d to 2s fidj young owes, small, 4s 6d to ss; lambs, shorn, best, 2s 6d to 3s 4d; poor, Is to 2s. In cattle, light beef. £4los to £slos; young steers 32s 6d to 60s; calves, 17s to 235. Horses, light harness, £1210s; hacks, M ss.
