FORGED BANK NOTES.
I London, April 30. Howard, a stylish American visitor, has been arrested on a charge of' being concerned with other prisoners at present in custody in an extensive forgery of bank notes. He had hundreds of forged notes of French, Belgian, and Gorman bankg, in his possession, and a complete engraving plant was found in his chambers at Belgravia, in the West. End of London.
Accused explained that lie was a scientific experimentalist, and did no forge the notes for circulation.
