WELLINGTON RACES.
By TcleiinipL—Press Association. Wumxcton, Tuesday. Almost all tbe horses are here for the lleotiug, and some good work is being done. There is every prospect of a successful gathering, if the weather holds up. Barmby and St. Clements divide favouritism for the Thompson Handicap, but there is little or no straight-out betting, as the chief books are double on tbe Thompson and the Steeple, but backers prefer to wait for the day. Tbe course is certain to be heavy owing to the late rains.
