Tho position of affairs at Onehunga is not qnite accurately described in the Auckland teregram, The department states that the Council originally fixed Saturday as tho day for the holiday, and the Minister was then written to by a shop-keeper who objected to Saturday, and claimed that the Council's action was informal, He requested the Minister to take stops to upset Saturday, and it was tbis Mr Reeves declined to do,
