KEROSENE.
By Telegraph.—Press Amciatwi Weimkotox, Monday.
Tho local kerosene market, despite the arrival of the barque Trinidad from New York, last week, with nearly ten thousand cases, is very firm, and holders are asking one shilling per gallon in bond for parcels. An advance of fifty per cent., on the prices ruling three months ago, is expected, and will be further increased in value at an early dato. The local importers say that paraffin wax is certain to respond in sympathy with kerosene, which will affect the price of candles of better qualities.
