FEATHERSTON NEWS.
From Our Own Cormpondent. Wednesday. Last evening, a uieoting of milk suppliors of the New Zealaxd F.D.U., was hold, there being a large number of suppliers present. Mr J. G. Cox was voted to the Chair, Mr Bernard Brown, Chairman of Directors, addressed the meeting and answered many questions. He stated that the reason their cheques for the past month had been kept back, was owing to the suppliers having been reported to have stated that they were Rointf to sever from the Union, and if they would say they wore going to remain loyal to the Union, and would sign a legal guarantee for the remaining twelye months of the original contract, then the cheques would be delivered. Those present would uot agree, and the meeting broke up at 1 a.m., without anything boing arrived at, except that some of the suppliors state that if they do not receive their cheques at once, they will take legal action,
