LATEST PAHIATUA NEWS.
By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. Pahiatua, Monday. At a special meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held thismorning, absolution was passed that the Council take steps to raise a loan of £2,500 to repair the damage done by the late floods, such a loan to be repaid by a special rate over the whole county. It was also decided to ask the Government for terms for the loan.
