FEATHERSTON NEWS.
From Our Oim Correspondent, Monday. I hear that Mr D. McMaster, of Tuhitarata, has lost about 700 sheep through the recent flood, mid Mr A. Martin, of Otaria, about 30 or 40 head of cattle. On Saturday, the nominations for the Wardens of the sub-districts of the lloart Board closed, and all the retiring Wardens wore re-nominated, with the exception of Mr Jas. McLeod, of sub-district No. 8, there being no nomination at all recoivod for this ward.
