The sale of grass seeds is practically I closed, and values show a downward movement, Potatoes show no improvement, and as there are large consignments of Southern potatoes in the Wellington market, an advance in price is unlikely to take place for some time. The onion market is firm, The butter trade is still weak,

In poultry, there has been a lari?e falling off in yalue; the same may be said of pigs. Our sale of horses on Saturday, was scarcely up to the average, both as regards prices andontries; only three horses being sold, In properties, we only disposed of one line, a farm comprising about 150 acres, near Masterton, The following are our wholesale quotations
