In another column nine Tnr, station proprietors give Station notice that on and after Lock-out. the 18th proximo they will not accommodate travellers, and in an open letter in another column give specific reasons for arriving at this decision. It is woll-known that last winter thescstations were over-taxed by the demands made upon them, also that the proprietors in question are generally reported to be kindly-hearted, hospitable men, who would not, except under severe pressure, take the step which is now announced.
