Tlio Sultan lias issued an order forbidding any further massacre of Armenians.
However, notwithstanding the order 100 Turkish soldiers escaped from tlio barracks at Erzeroum with the intention of murdering Christians.
On the men refusing to return the colonel in cliargo had 13 of them sbot dead.
