It is whispered that the Masterton NorthWairarapaLiberal School Association intends comHiiKCTiOK ing out strong at the School Election on Monday next, and that it will turn out the present Committee and put in a new one of the right colour. We do not know whether the Association is doing this to further its own interests, but we do know that it is not doing it in the interests of the school. We object very strongly to party politics being brought to bear on an institution like our public school, and we sincerely trust the parents of Masterton will not allow the gay and festive bachelors, who are understood to man this particular Association, to play ducks and drakes with the school where their children are being educated.
