(Received, April 17,12.40 a,m,L Oalcoita, April 16 Jji Colonol Kelly, with 300 Sepoys, has, after an arduous march, relieved Mastuj, wherein was Lieutenant Brethreton, The relieving party wero competed to carry the guns across the stream, as the bridges had been destroyed by the enemy, On approaching the enemy the Sepoys rushed a series of stonowalls, which wore captured at tho point of the bayonet after an hour's fighting. The casualties ou the British side were ouly trivial. Umra Khan lws requested an armistice, but this has been refused, him unloss he is prepared to make complete submission. (Deceived April 17, 11.80 a.m.) Calcutta, April 16. Capt. Peebles of the Devonshire Regiment, commanding the Maxim guns, has died at Sade of his wouuta Colonel Kelly reports that IR principal leaders haye fled from iat Mastuj district.
