At a fire at Christchuri'h yesterday, a little girl, two and a half years old was burnt to death She was a (laughter of Mr Burris, saddler. Mr BunJiam, teacher at the fiecfton School, shot himself dead yesterday. He had been recently dismissed. A girl named Jilizaueth Uanall, aged thirteen, accidentally slabbed herself, at Christehurch, with a carving knife. She died within three or four minutes.
