■Shanghai, April 5. The Chinese at Haijing tired on the Japanese officers who had held a flag of truce with the view of communicating in regard to an armistice. Five transport vessels crowded with cavalry and infantry, left the seaport of .Shimmonoseki in Japan before the armistice was arranged.
