Messrs Simms and Mowlom held an extensive sale of horses in their yards yesterday (Thursday), at which they offered about 50 lots, including 6ome of the moßfc fashion, ably bi'ed racing stock in the district. Bidding was dull in the extreme, and most lines were passed inundei 1 the hammer, although several lots changed hands bofore tho close of the sale, Good hacks brought up to £ls, light draughts, unbroken, £6 to £l2, draughts, £8 to £2O; one, woil-matched pair of buggy mares realised £2O.
