Mr F. H. Wood reports of the stock sale hold by him at the Tnratahi yards yesterday as follow: Stock yarded were not so numerous or of such quality as last sale. There was a largo attendance, and a fairly good demand and brisk competition for young stock. Prices showed a Blight improvement on last sale, king as under-.-Sheep: fat and forward wethers, 6s 3d; do. owes,6s 2d; store ewes, 6-tooth to 11 mouth, 3s to 4s 6d; culls, Is Id to 2s 6d ; 2-tooth ewes, 4s 3d to ss; hmbs, 3s, ,3d. Catikv GiUes, Vis tn ; I yearlings to 18 mouths, 30s to 425; .heifers in calf, 4.0s to 60s ; small' (heifers, beef, 00s to 70s; coirs, ancient, 35s to 50s, Pigs: Woauers, 43 to 5s 6d; porkers, 15s. The next Taratahi stock sale will be held on Thursday, the 18th, instead of Tuesday, the 16th, as that day is a holiday, and the 2nd day of the Tauherenikau Races.
