SIMMS & MOWLEM'S STOCK SALE REPORT.
Messrs Sininis and Mowleni held their usual stock salo yesterday (Wednesday), and yarded sheep of all classes in numbers, considerably in excess of the advertised entries Bidding in some instances was brisk, although many lines were passed in under the hammer, which eventually changed hands before the close of the days proceedings, Cattle wero not well represented, and for dairying stock business was dull, although every lino changed hands, Horses of all classes came to band in greater numbers than wo have had for some time, but there was no marked change in prices since last report. Pigs were in fair demaud.and all yarded (about thirty in number), found buyers. Fat bullocks brought £6 2s; empty beifersaud cows, 50s j cows in calf, £3 10s; fat ewes, ss; fat lambs, 4s 6'd to ss; woolly lambs, 3s 3d to 4s 6d j 2-tooth ewes, 3s 6d to 4s 6d ; 2-tooth wethers, 4s 6d to 5s 3d; fresh full mouth ewes, 3s 3d to 4s fld; culls, Is 4d to 2s; cidlccl lambs, Is; pigs, 6s to 10s for weaners; hacks, £5 to £10; draughts, £l2 to £ls; rams, Lincolns, all ages, 21s to 255; Romneys, 20s.
