By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent, Pahiatca, Tuesday. The alleged libel cases, A. Black v. the Pahiatua Herald, also those against Messrs Tosswill, Crewe and Briggs, wore set down for hearing this session at Waiiganiii by the defendants- The cases (counter) against Black by the three later dofendents were also set down, but the application made by Black to have the cases adjourned till the following session has been granted by the Court. The Public School re-opened yesterday after being closed for a week through the creek nuisance. Dr Gault has taken Dr Dawson into partnership. Mr A. Tuckey rotimied to Pahiatua for the first time since his severe accident.
