A farewell social is to be given to Mr and Mrs Wilkie (who are leaving here for New Plymouth) to-morrow evening in the Wesleyan-School-room. A large gathering is expected, Mr G. Pouud, who has lived here for many years, leaves for the Old Country this week, A child of Mr John Locker died I this morning.
