Cattlo were difficult to quit, tlio bulk of sales being made privately. In fat sheep wethers made 7s 6d, ewes 5s to 6s, store wethers 5s to 7s 2d, ewes 4s to 4s 9d, young ewes 4s 6s to ss, good breeding ewes 2s 6d to 4s 6d, medium 2s 6d, aged 9d to Is Id; lambs, best 3s 3d, medium 2s 6d, culls 6d to Is; rams, Lincolns 1 to H guineas; cattle, fat cows £4 to £i 10s, stores 60s, store steers 70s, young steers 47s 6d, yearling 30s, calves 20s; pigs, stores 255, Blips 14s,' weaners 55,.. ...
