FIRE AT PAHIATUA.

(By Telegraph.- Owu Correspondent,) Pamatua, Wednesday. At two o'clock this morning, a , fii'O was discovorod in a building at tliu corner of Main and Mangatainoka street's, formerly occupied by ut Mr Marlsy, blacksmith, bnt for some wtimo unoccupied'. The fire had a good hold, and tho building was totally destroyed. The Town Hall, Council Chambers, aud J, R, Graham's storo adjoining, had a , narrow escape, being saved with difficulty. The building destroyed was the property of Mr T. 0. Williams, and was insured for £l5O in the Liverpool, London and Globe.
