Memiourxk, March 20. The decomposed body of a: elderly woman has been discoverei in a house at Railway Crescent South Melbourne, where she residei with [a chimney sweep namei Stephen Cole. In the latter part of Febrnarj they were heard quarrelling, and few days afterwards Cole was notice nailing up the windows, since wliicl he has disappeared. The body lay on the bed with fearful gash in the throat. All th circumstances point to murder. The discovery was made in conse quence of the di-aadful stench. The house is close to where th Perkins tragedy recently took place
