(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent!. Pahiatuaj Wednesday*' Typhoid fever is very prevalent here. Mary Kennedy, the only daughter of Mr J. A. Kennedy, Town Clerk, expired last evening from an attack. ; ~ A - ■ There is splendid weather to-day, and a largo crowd went to Napier.' A meeting of the Pabiatua liite'rary and Debating Society, held lost evening, deoided to commence the season on the Ist of April. A writ hnß been J. H. Greville, at- the instance of Mr Hope, for £SOO damages for allied malicious proseoutio^.
