FOOTBALL.
[llT DAMOCLES.] At the annual meeting of the Carterton F.C. held on Saturday night, the following officers were elected:—President, Dr. Johnston; vice-Presidents, Messrs W, Moore,' L, Nix, W. G, King and J. Bayliss; Match Committee, Messrs C. MooreH, Telford and C. Allen; Secretary, Mr C. Mooro (re-elected); Treasurer, Mr C. Allen (re-elected); Delegates' to the Union, Messrs C. Reid, O. faii-brother and H. Telford. The! first fifteen of the Club will elect their o\vn captain at some future peting.
It was decided that the joining fee be the same as last year, viz., 5s for seniors, and 2s fid for juniors.' It was also decked, that the delegates be instructed to vote in favor of the match committee of the Union being outsiders, not players. Th» l '' ! i,. Secretary was instructed to arrange a match for Easter Monday, with some Wellington team. Messrs Booth, Reid, Eairbrother, Eagle, and Moore, were elected life members to the Club.
