Lord Ripon lias informed Lord Kintore that bis successor will soon be appointed, as he has received numerous applications for the post of Governor of South Australia from noblemen and others.
News from British Guinea states that the Venezuela authorities arrested a numbor of British policoon the frontier, about which thoro is a dispute, but afterwards released them. Moro recently they expelled French and Belgian Ministers, because they advised the powers to impose a mixed foreign tribunal on the Republic.
