FEATHERSTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Friday. Dr Lamb, late of Fetone, has started practising here and he bears with him the name of a skilful physician, a courteous gentleman, and \ a moderate charger, these combined ought to ensure him a good patronage. Last night some larrikinß rented one of the dials from the djHmy clock over Mr Louis, watchmaker's shop, and have hidden it away. Tha matter has been placed in tho hands ... of the police and if ,the offender is found out, they intend to make an example of him. The Lake which has been closod , for some time, is to be opened to-day*
