Nominations for all events close with the Secretary at the Empire Hotel, Fcathcnton, on Tuesday, 21st March, at 7,30 p.m. heights tor the Ist day's Handicaps will bo declared on Saturday, March 30th, Acceptances tor the first day's Handicaps close at the same place on Monday, Bth April, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for the second day's Handicaps will be declared at the Empire Hotel, Feathcrston, at about 8 p.m, on the night of the first day's races. Acceptances close at a time to be notified after weights are posted. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations and Acceptances must be accompanied by thenecestaiy fee?, otherwise they will bo rejected. 2. Nominations must state colour, sex, name, age, pedigree and previous performances (where not known to handicappcr), and colours to be woru by tho rider, and iltiote number of raco entered for. 3. A hark is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter races excepted) and is not nominated in any race other than Hack or Euntsr races at time of Nomination, ■I. All races to bo run under the Now Zealand rules of racing. In case of a protest tho same must be lodged with tho Storotary within 15mins, after tho race has been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if tho protest be found frivolous or vexatious. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through tho Secretary, and 30 minutes before tho timo of starting.
