(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) Pahiatua, Monday.
The Pakiatna Juniors defeated the Manga-a-tua Juniors by 57 runs, on Saturday, the match was played in showery weather and very cold. The public school treat was a success but the weather interfered. The' «merston school boys defeated the il school by three wickets.
The swimming contests for Wednesday week are looked forward to with much interest.
At the sitting of the S.M, Court to-morrow the case of cattle stealing w ill be tried,
